From 5 to 13 November, at Port Vell, venue of the Catalan event with boats
at sea, it will be possible to visit Itama
45’, a contemporary evolution of the famous Itama Forty and its
unforgettable predecessor Itama 38’, the model that has made the history of the
brand together with Itama Fifty Five.
Designed
by architect Marco Casali in close
collaboration with AYT and the team
of architects and designers of Centro
Stile Ferrettigroup, Itama 45’
is a 13 metre long day-cruiser
capable of high performance, reaching a top speed of 33.5 knots.
Detailed
restyling that has made it possible to introduce a serious of innovations,
without altering the Itama brand style. Among the novelties, the telescopic retractable gangway, integrated in the hull and the swimming platform at the stern, which
can be lowered into the water to launch the tender, stand out. An absolute novelty is also the new stern, where the mirror inclination has been modified in order to obtain new dynamic exterior lines without sacrificing
the former formal values. Moreover, space has been made for a wide and
practical locker that can be used for water toys and a functional free-hand shower.
Stylistic
changes have also been made to the layout and the interior, where white is distinctly predominant –
painted wood, teak floors and blinds – contrasting with the blue colour of the
bridge, giving greater brightness
and airiness to the rooms below deck, thanks to the stylistic evolution of the
now wider windows.
The V-shaped 22 deep hull remains popular,
thanks to thrust of the two Cummins
engines of 480 hp each, which make Itama 45’ a powerful and reliable open,
ensuring unparallel sea-worthiness, to enjoy the sportive spirit that is
characteristic to the brand.
Giuseppe Mazza, Brand
Manager of Itama declares: “Having been
to Cannes and Genoa, Itama could not miss being at the Barcelona Boat Show with
its latest novelty: Itama 45’.
The Catalan event is an important opportunity for the
brand that is historical linked to the Mediterranean as Itama, and that
considers the Spanish coast and islands as a catchment area that is ideal for
day-cruisers with the characteristics of our models.”
The open Itama, with the characteristics of
white-blue hulls distinguishing the brand’s unique style, has always been a
symbol of timeless elegance and class for those who would like to have an
unobstructed relation with the sea and unique sailing experiences.
